Square One. Branding for a new Community Eatery.

Square 1 project started with a simple concept of “going back to square one”.

When creating the authentic brand purpose and story, this concept also gave way to the idea of reconnecting with the community, neighborhood and the food while embracing sustainability and giving back. In a way, the whole team behind Square 1 was on a mission by taking a journey back to square-one and bringing a new perspective to good food and nourishment with a sense of space and community.

We wanted the brand name and the logo to resonate the essence of this idea. And that’s where we suggested to use the name “Community Eatery” which added another layer into our communication. We also creative directed and styled the website photography as part of the brand’s visual language.
